Fýri (Taiga Reindeer Subtype)

They are often found near the Holt herds, often leading to fights that can cause devastating damage to each other.  Unlike their arctic counterparts, these reindeer antlers typically grow with thin tines vs the thicker ones in the arctic where they grow antlers that seem to shield their eyes and also help dig craters into the snow.  These antlers are mainly used to aggressively fight for their small harems, due to low numbers in the areas of the dense forests that they live in.

While not the tallest nor the largest, they are 180–220 cm (71–87 inches) long and the tail 10–15 cm (4–6 inches).  Those who are larger weigh 150–250 kg (331–552 lbs), while smaller weigh about 100 kg (220 lbs). Their longer legs, wide hooves and narrower V-shaped antlers facilitate movement through deep snow and wooded habitats.

Their coat colors are typically brown hues, but can become darker.  Those who are darker are considered good luck, especially if they are blessed by the spirits.  However, the fire spirit isn't deemed lucky by them due to superstition.

Calves are generally raised in the pastures, where the forests meet in the middle of the large mountain range.

The spirits whom they say prays for is the Earth Spirit and Water Spirit.
